Shop and life update 💖

Hi everyone,

With all the social media I use, I tend to forget to include the e-mail list in my updates, so it's been a bit! Which, is okay, because not a lot has been going on.

I've been working steadily on my Kickstarter book (thanks to those of you that contributed!), which will be ready and shipping out to folks soon! Right now I am finishing up the final phases of the proofing process. After that it'll be printed and shipped to me, then the real fun of getting everyone their books begins.

To keep myself busy in the meantime, I've been doing some fun drawings inspired by the zodiac and a lot of sketches of fancy goldfish. If you don't use social media (good on you), then you haven't seen them. Here are the goldfish:

And here are the zodiac drawings (you're getting to see Pisces before the rest of the Internet, but honestly I just couldn't handle having an uneven number of pictures):

To be honest, after finishing the Kickstarter, I was feeling a little overwhelmed and unmotivated to actually paint. When I feel that way, I usually pick small projects to focus on and get my momentum back. So it's been nice to kick back a little and fiddle with these little projects while I'm taking a break from editing the book (so much computer time!)

With everything going on, I allowed my Etsy shop to fall into a little bit of disarray (nothing new for WEEKS!), but I fixed that recently and added some fun things (greeting cards, some prints, and the goldfish drawings). If you've never seen my Etsy store, go for a visit! It's here!

If you have time to poke around, let me know what you think! I'm trying to keep it stocked with what people enjoy, but I don't feel like I have a natural knack for figuring that out. So let me know :)

All art stuff aside, I've been settling into Seattle and really enjoying it. I moved here in February, and so far this city has been very nice to me. And, it's not as rainy as everyone warned me about (yet, I still need to get through a winter).

Hope everyone is doing well.
